Visitors to Elmwood Farm in recent years would be presented with a disheartening sight. The house, which had gone without even basic maintenance for many years, had fallen into further disrepair, and the grounds had become overgrown and populated with the cast-off equipment of decades of farm activity.

One of the projects we have undertaken, with a LOT of help from our friends, is a cleanup of property to regain some semblance of reasonable appearance and to allow us to begin some badly-needed repairs.

Local architect Scott Richardson has gone to work cleaning out the accumulated rubbish and unusable furnishings, filling a dumpster in the process. The accompanying photos indicate the extent of the transformation he has accomplished to date.
